Viele Spiele-Schmieden bieten ihre alten Titel teils gratis an. Diese Games können dann kostenlos heruntergeladen werden und natürlich auch kostenlos gespielt werden. Origin zum Beispiel hat jeden Monat einen gratis Titel im Angebot. Der Zugriff darauf kann aber nur in einer bestimmten Zeit erfolgen. Ist das Spiel einmal in der Bibliothek geht es aber in ihren Besitz über. Origin bietet mit der auf´s Haus Aktion jeden Monat einen solchen Titel an.
Es gibt aber noch etliche andere, die einem ähnlichen Prinzip folgen. Bei diversen Spielen benötigen Sie einen Client wie Steam, Uplay oder Origin und bei anderen müssen Sie einen Account auf einer Webseite erstellen. Links zu den Clients finden Sie direkt unter diesem Text.
